WELP GUYS wish me luck
...for today I have my ankle operated upon!
*spoilers for the squeamish*
See, my ankle is very loose. Very. Loose. It likes to roll right under me when I walk, and then things go crack and swell up to the side of a medium-large citrus fruit and are very painful. (Take your foot and turn it inward so the inside of your foot is facing upward, and the outside is facing the floor. Now imagine WALKING on that. Not pleasant, aye?) Now, USUALLY it doesn't bother me that bad, but when it rolled in September, it actually did break and never healed right - because yanno, kinda can't help but walk on it - so I'm going to have the problematic tendon cut in half, have half of it run THROUGH my ankle bone (yes, that's right, through it!) and then reattached once it's through the bone, so that my ankle can't do the nasty little rolling thing anymore. Simple surgery apparently, only takes about an hour and a half, but still...
If you guys could wish me a bit of luck and good karma (no, no, not good Karma, he's always good :V) then I would greatly appreciate it.
Also I wish it to be known I don't want to spend six weeks on crutches. Scooting everywhere on the floor on my not-so-shapely butt, here I come!

I'm glad it's only a simple surgery - best of luck during and after!

Good Luck!
It'll be fine also. Simple surgeries often have very great outcomes!

Gee, thanks, Doc. Just what I always wanted to hear. XP
Naw, in all seriousness, thank you guys. <3 It went perfectly and I'm remarkably pain-free even without painkillers. Still not liking the crutches, but hey, that's life.
Likely won't be on PSO for a few days yet (maybe week tops?) but I'll also try to get back to that soon. :Db
