Hi.

I had my PSO install working fine and then I messed with it and now it won't save graphics options, or even let me adjust the resolution. Also, the font in game is huge, and not the regular font used on the server.

I'm pretty sure this happened because I merged the .reg file. I also deleted the key a few times trying to fix the problem. It seems like the current "install.reg" maybe doesn't add the values from option.exe upon inspection of the keys in regedit.

So here's what it looks like:

Since I can't select a resolution, when I try and change the graphics to high end and enable save user id I get this and it won't save the changes:

I am able to run the game at high resolution with high res hud through the Launcher options, but the Launcher has NO option for graphics settings.

This means it looks like a blurry mess with no antialiasing on anything, basically it looks like absolute trash.

If I'm correct and it's a registry thing (the bad graphics only occurred after deleting the Sonic Team reg key), then can someone with it configured to high end graphics export the key to a reg file and upload it here for me?

EDIT: Basically option.exe is not saving anything at all because I can't pick a resolution

Sorry for the trouble and thank you for your help. (I've tried everything I could think of to fix it.)

inside the PSOBB Client folder run install.reg. Which will offer to import into registry, click yes and then try again.
It should then work fine.

I've done that, and again, it didn't fix it.

In the game options (from when you click Options after running online.exe) it doesn't allow me to select a resolution at all, and hence won't save any options I select, just like the screenshots I posted.

The edenserv launcher doesn't have options to save user id and password, or turn sound on or off, or change graphics settings etc.

Still having issues?

Do you run dual graphics cards? Integrated and Dedicated?

No, actually, I run Crossfire, two AMD R9 290s.

I never thought that maybe that's why the res won't show up.

I also run Eyefinity and that probably doesn't help either.

I'll try disable Crossfire right now and see if that fixes it.

Change the Color Depth (Colors) to 32-bit.

I also have this issue, went from xp to win10 on my laptop and desktop.
I only have a problem with the laptop! Unsupported graphics card might
be the reason? No luck with suggestions...hopefully there's a solution.

I'll borrow a laptop with Win 10 on it and try to get Eden running on it and see if anything works!

Can't start till tomorrow though!

EDIT: Sold the laptop, no win 10!

I still can't adjust my resolution in display option!
I need to select emulation fog in advanced graphics
for my laptop to cope.
