Post subject:  Suggested Weapons

Was just thinking about this, and thought it would be nice to share ideas, specially since noobs can read this and decide on what they really want.
Basically I'm creating this thread to share and swap ideas for what you think the best weapon of a certain class is (I.E. Sword, rifle, mechgun) I know that some items are hell-rare to find, but does that always make them good? This could save someone that painful grind or expensive trade to find out that they don't like (fill in blank) weapon. So, I'll start with my example.

In my opinion, the best single target weapon is the L&K38 combat. 5 shots per button with good damage, you can rip through a lot of things with it. I've honestly stopped using my double saber class weapons and other mechguns because of this gun. Though because of those five hits I find that if you miss you're left rather... vulnerable. But even so, I feel that the damage output this weapon can give to someone can overcome that little burden. What do you guys think? Also, this thread is for ALL weapons, so we can compare and contrast ideas :3
(If there is a thread like this already I'm sorry D: I did a search with weapon and didn't see anything.)

I think there's only topics suggesting the best weapons for specific tasks like TA and the (rather good) class guides. Anyway I like the idea.

And now I'm going to make some people mad and say Iron Faust is awesome.
It's splash damage and auto-aim. AUTO-AIM!

For Eden, here's what I run on my FOmarl:

Tyrell's Parasol: S/D/R boost, putting all at 3x range.
Glide Divine: J/Z boost, self explanatory.
Excalibur: Use for generic zerk, and for the wonderful gizonde trick on Vol Opt. <3
Slicer of Fanatic: Easiest demons ever, anyone? Special -> Normal -> Special, your target is guaranteed to have their health reduced by at least 75% or your money back!
Merc rod: For those times where grants is actually useful...
Vivienne: Really strong double saber for close-range single target combat!
Dark Bridge: Megid penetration. You could easily substitute a demonic fork or some other way to get your megid to pierce.
Rambling May: This weapon is core on any FOmarl. Fires like a handgun with two shots, and it's very strong for what it is. If you get nothing else on your FOmarl, get one of these. (I have it on the bottom of this list because I arranged it in the same way I have my inventory - I have my most important weapons at the very top or very bottom of my list because they're easier to access.)

------

Armor: Sweetheart. I know I should use Lieutenant Mantle for the trap vision, but I just like the Rambling May damage boost from this armor. Plus, I've got my shields for when I know there are traps! I also used to use Cursed Cloak for the EDK and megid penetration. It's actually not too bad of an armor here with the resistances.

-------

Shields:
Red Ring: Standard omg-yes-life is good shield. Great stats all around, ATA boost is nice. When I'm not the primary support or I need to be doing damage, I'll use this.

Rupika: S/D/R range, it turns my 3x with parasol to a 4x range. I could use heal merge or S/D merge to get 5x, but I like being well rounded. Plus, this shield has pretty decent stats. <3

Rico's Glasses: Grants boost + trap vision. I like it. XD

Yeah, that's another way to play... I just don't like spamming techs, personally. XD

Rambling May is mandatory anyway. It shoots hearts <3
Damage and two hits is just bonus. D:

I like the auto aim on it, unless you're trying to hit something specific...in which case you would not use the faust anyway. :P

That would be a lil bit hard if you use the auto aim on a specific moving target. That's not the appropriate thing to do, but with regards to the targets that are moving any sides, just use the manual aim and just focus on the target that you 'd like to be hit.

Post subject:  Re: Suggested Weapons

im a tad surprised that none of us has posted how awesome and amazing they made excal.

Honestly when I started playing Blue Burst, I always used like Musashi/Spirit Gladius/Berserk Gladius. Now all I ever use in place of those, is EXCALIBUR. This weapon alone hits not 1, not 2, but 3 TARGETS!!! With saber animation, this thing lays wastes to the rows on Indi Belras that you could never kill before. (Examples of this is MSB where there's that like 5-6 Indi Belra spawn right in the middle and u gotta kill them all). Its berserk is fantastic. This weapon sadly will only normally allow two percents to the weapons attributes in either the categories of Native/A.Beast/Machine/Dark/Hit. And with this comes benefits, but not as much as we'd like. I mean, the benefit of having the ability to sphere/tekk two different percents in any category, but I'm sure I can speak for a lot of the players here when i say that we wouldn't mind it being capable of three percents ;)

When this weapon has hit, it is unstopable! Berserk and hit go very well together. This is a must get weapon for all classes alike! (except for FOney ofc cause she cant use excalibur)
