COMMON ERRORS:

903 patch server error?
This is a connection issue between you and the patch server. One of the most frequent causes of this is not having the right psobb.exe and online.exe in your folder. Make sure you extracted properly.

It may also be the case that the patch server's having some issues. If you're sure you replaced your exes properly, try again. If you still have issues, request help in the shoutbox or in the help forums linked above. The patch server may simply need a restart.


Instant crash, error code 2?
This happens when you're running the exes from the wrong folder. Remember, after you run the first exe, you'll need to REPLACE the files in the folder that's created with the ones in the second link.

Incorrect password, but you're sure you entered it in properly?
Ingame passwords are all lowercase, so if you had any capital letters, try typing them lowercase. Also, make sure caps lock isn't on. (<- happens to the best of us)

Little update, those three download links are now one for your convenience.

For those of you having problems with your unitxt_j.prs displaying the wrong info for things like cure/poison when it should be saying state/maintenance here is the correct and up to date version, since the one on the patch server seems to be down. Download and place in your data folder.

Is there a way to fix this, i downloaded the psobb full installment and every time i go to do the patch it has an error..

PS: In that page, Laura said that she double-checked for us, so it works well! Also, pay attention to dates; eventually, things spoil.

ive followed the installation guide word for word and it gives me the error of invalid username and password. im not typing it in wrong and i have validated my account. ive tried this with 2 seperate accounts and reinstalled twice. anyone know whats up?

Are you trying to use your forum account to log into the game?

There are separate accounts for forums and the game. I don't remember having to validate the in game account.
